Leigh Summer Walk and Barbecue - 27 August
The Leigh Summer Walk is on Monday 27 August, starting on the Green at 11
am. The first part of the walk will be about three miles at the end
of which one can either picnic or have lunch in a pub. The afternoon
session will leave from the picnic place at about 2.15 pm for a walk of
about three and a half miles, reaching Leigh at about 5 pm. (Further
details in the July/August Leigh Post, page 9)
Anthony & Helen have
kindly agreed to host a barbecue at their house after the Leigh Summer Walk
on 27 August , so bring along some food and
drink. (You won't need to bring your own barbecue, and
you don't have to come on the walk either!) Any queries about the
