Betchworth Acorns could face years of dust and noise- unless!

The field behind Betchworth Acorns where skylarks nest and which is a lovely backdrop to the school and many Betchworth residents, could become a quarry for the extraction of sand lasting until 2024!

Deleterious effects on Betchworth Acorns could well rebound on Leigh Acorns Infant School which is of such great value to our village.

If you want to support Betchworth against the projected dust and noise, write immediately, quoting 2007/0526 to: Ms Pauline Sparrow, Environment and Regulation, Surrey County Council, County Hall, Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey KT1 2DY.
