Great Organ Extravaganza in St Bartholomew's Church

Hear six famous organs from around the world through powerful computer programmes which will be played by Geoff Lloyd in St Bartholomew’s Church, Leigh, at 7.30 pm on Saturday 22 September.  There will be music from Bach and Handel right through to popular music including Sleepy Lagoon (Desert Island Discs) and the Dambusters’ March.  Wine and cheese in the interval.

The organs include 17th Century Baroque organs from Germany and Holland, the 1928 Skinner Organ in Chicago, the 1921 Wurlitzer Organ in Illinois, and the 1854 Cavaille-Coll Organ in Aix en Provence.
