The object of the Desert Dining Club is to encourage a greater understanding and interest in desert regions.

The Club looks to achieve this by holding one event a year in an interesting place where members meet for dinner and hear a short talk by a member or visitor with current knowledge of general interest to impart.

The Club has a membership of over 100, comprising engineers, travellers, anthropologists, archaeologists, surveyors, geographers, geomorphologists, botanists, artists etc

Anyone with an interest in deserts is normally welcomed to apply for membership
